Here is what moved forward for students and families:
- Memory tree — Preferences, course facts, and notes you save live in a readable tree (by day, topic, and source), not a black-box chat log.
- Personal context — Before each reply, Emily scouts what she already knows about you so help stays personal without re-explaining your courses.
- Learning goals — Say my goal is pass Chem midterm · show my goals · goal done: Chem (separate from short todos).
- Lecture → memory (opt-in) — After a lecture summary, say save this lecture to my memory. Key points only; nothing lands unless you opt in. Privacy mode still blocks new saves.
- Mastery loop — Practice is hint → check → grade → spaced review on weak spots.
- Clarify before guessing — Ambiguous asks get a short clarifying question instead of a wrong campus or study dump.
Try it in Telegram: set a goal, summarize a lecture, then save this lecture to my memory.
